Straight Rec wins WPBL Championship, completes undefeated season over the Hawks(54-27)
In it's first year, the Women's Premier Basketball League did not disappoint. Although there are 4 competitive teams this season, there was one team that stood out. Straight Rec came into the league with one goal, and that was to win the whole thing. Well Amanda Jackson and the rest of the team did that plus more. They just completed an undefeated season by beating Brooklyn Summitt and the Hawks this past Sunday, 54-27. Leading the way for Straight Rec was guard Marissa Clark, as she lead all scores with 15 points. She was on fire from 3 point rage, going 4-6 from behind the arc. Also contributing to the victory was Brianna Ball as chipped in with 14 points while going 2-4 from behind the arc.
If this team stays together, this won't be the only championship that they will win. Congrats once again to Straight Rec for winning the 2019 Spring Women's Premier Basketball League.
